"The Great Reset" is probably the most important idea of the 21st century, so far. It is also what I have been writing about for nearly twenty years. I referred to it in different terms, of course. It wasn't called the Great Reset until this year. Previous to 2020 I was writing and talking about social engineering in hyperreality, society building, the modern Self, hypermanipulation, the amalgam intellect and aspects of what I called the 21st Century Enlightenment, which is a realisation that there are problems with the systems of society on this planet. These problems are entirely manmade and can be entirely unmade. Up until 2020 I was merely commenting upon these realisations, but with Existential Intentionality in Society I have created an organisation to begin, at the very least, having a conversation about these philosophies and what we are going to do about them. We are, after all, the Amalgam Intellect, connected by technology in real time, capable of real democracy, globally. We can, if we so choose, take control of the creation of a new social contract and that is what the Great Reset actually means, to design and rebuild Society. That is, if we don’t balk at the idea of a Global Society in the first place.
The phrase and the idea of the Great Reset comes to us from the World Economic Forum, its panel discussions, and published documents. "The World Economic Forum (WEF) announced that next year’s annual meeting in Davos would focus on the idea that the pandemic provides an opportunity to usher in a more fair, just society — a concept described by organizers as “The Great Reset.” "* It is, in fact, the long-planned reevaluation of global economics and related systems (which is most of them,) by what can properly be called "the Rulers of the World." The language of the previous statement gives away its intentionality, "Holy crap! It's a globalist agenda!" cries half of the so-called First World. The other half answers, "Yes. We've only been talking about this since the 1970s." Then it becomes a purely economical argument undertaken by politicians. The public simply chooses sides, much as they always have, for seemingly moral reasons, stated usually in cyberspace.
In 2020, other systems are being called into question, beyond the concerns of economics, such as in police forces and justice systems around the world, but even these concerns have economic causes, at least in part. I argue that having merely the discussion about these matters is a good thing. I believe that pushing back against certain arguments is not even possible without sounding and being unreasonable. The idea of a Great Reset, or even the idea of, for instance, a global currency gets push back from certain folks and acceptance from others. But everyone on every side of this argument, (there are more than two) is in danger of overgeneralizing the concepts, they are too complex to say “we mustn’t do X because Y.” There is a whole alphabet of concerns to consider. It’s also doubtful that you, creator of the sole household income with four mouths to feed, has had the time to become an expert in any of these concerns. I know I haven’t.
All we can do, all anyone can do, about these concerns is take them into consideration, one at a time, weighing possible pros and cons, like any other choice in this life. The fact that we the public have the opportunity to have our voices heard in this matter is unprecedented. Perhaps this is why, also for the first time ever, the “rulers” of the world have announced their intention to change what Society means. It has already been discussed as a possibility for years, the Covid Pandemic has simply moved the agenda up in priority, in availability, in exercise. We should not lose sight of the fact that in a very real way, your Uncle the Conspiracy Theorist was right; The New World Order is a global concern, we just thought we were going to have different players calling the shots. It remains a mystery to me however, why these same Conspiracy Theorists don’t also appreciate that those same original players, the Neocons, have only served to postpone the Great Reset, in the name of profit for themselves and their friends. The bank has already been robbed. For you see, the global Society has been developmentally delayed just so a handful of people could get richer destroying the environment, when we could have gone straight to green energy, possibly even free energy. This is conspiracy yes, but no longer theory, in my estimation. This is the frightening truth of reality and the unspoken reason that the Great Reset is happening and why it must be allowed to happen.
The fact that the politicians we have elected to run things have chosen to run things should not be fodder for conspiracy theory. To think that such a condition is problematic is to miss the point. This new generation of global leaders are not holding their meetings in secret. They are planning their presentations in partial secret, but even in Canada, the media has begun talking about societal reform. This new meeting of the new global elite that wants to imagine a new global society is meeting in Davos, May 18 to 21 2021.
Ecological concerns aside, (they will be addressed in the new economy, because everything is addressed in the new economy,) let us only look at two viewpoints currently (as of November 25 2020) being discussed in the media, that of the Conservative Canadian and the Liberal Canadian, who also happens to be the Prime Minister. The argument breaks down like this, the Liberal wants to go to the Davos Meetings with solutions in hand. The Conservative does not want the Davos meetings to take place, he wants to go back to the Pre-Covid economy. To me this seems like one side is saying, “we need to talk about changing things so that Society is just, fair and equal” and the other side is saying, “No we don’t.” I think this is a very fair analogy, albeit a generalization. However, we don’t need to have an argument about which of these parties are correct in their stance, it doesn’t actually matter. The meeting is taking place. At this meeting they will either come up with changes or not and then countries will choose to either enact those changes or not. I think it is of interest to note who is pushing back against the ideas of fairness and caring, but maybe that’s just me.
Existential Intentionality in Society seeks to discuss the Great Reset at great length, here, now. It is, by far, the most important question of societal change that has faced us, perhaps ever. It also has very conveniently come at a time when it is very easy for us to have this discussion. Join us for free by signing up to this forum and give us your thoughts!
